Welcome to the home of the Australian Salsa Solo Competition 2010.

Whether it’s in a Solo or Team formation, the ASSC focuses on the individual skills of the dancer.

While the Australian Salsa Solo Competition is based predominantly on a Salsa routine, you can use 30% of your routine to exhibit ANY other dance style.
E.g. hip-hop, contemporary, folk, flamenco, afro, tap, jazz, you name it.
This year the NEW Open Latin Category allows for individuals to compete with Solo routines of any Latin style of music/dance, without having to incorporate Salsa in their competition routine at all.
The competition is about showing Australia what you're all about.

All judges have been specifically selected to ensure a balance of styles are covered
(Salsa and other) and for their involvement with Solo performances (individual and
team shines).
All judges will be familiar with the rules and judging criteria.
Read more about the judges.
Judges for the Youth Categories include:
* Becky Lee, NSW
* Marcia Pinheiro Percival, NSW
* Angela Lau, NSW
