The ASSC prizes include trophies, titles, prize money and most importantly an opportunity for the winner of each category to establish themselves as a solo dancer. This comes in the way of an all-expenses paid trip to one of four national dance events to perform.
Each adult category has been sponsored by a landmark national dance event:
- Male Category - Adelaide Salsa Festival (SA)
- Female Category - Melbourne Latin Festival (VIC)
- Team Category - DouDouLe Latin Dance Camp (QLD)
- Open Latin Category - Bachata Open Championships (NSW)
- Youth Categories - Sydney Salsa Congress (NSW) +

Thanks to our international sponsor, following the showdown between the male and female champions, the overall individual winner will also win an all-expenses paid trip to perform at the amazing Hong Kong Salsa Festival 2011.
